The Ironclad
The Ironclad is the bruiser of Slay the Spire 2. His cards revolve around HP manipulation, Strength scaling, and Exhaust synergies. Burning Blood heals him after every combat, making him forgiving for newer players while still offering deep build variety.

The Silent
The Silent uses Poison, Shivs, and discard synergies to control fights. She has excellent card draw and deck cycling, but low base HP (70) makes her fragile. Rewards careful deck construction over raw power.

The Defect
The Defect channels Orbs — Lightning, Frost, Dark, and Plasma — that trigger passively each turn and on evoke. Focus increases all Orb output. Complex to learn but scales hard once you understand Orb management.

The Necrobinder
The Necrobinder summons allies and binds souls for persistent effects. Summons attack and block on your behalf each turn. Managing your board state is key — AoE enemies and summon limits create real decision points.

The Regent
The Regent uses a dual-resource system: Energy and Stars. Star-cost cards are powerful but require dedicated generation. The newest character in StS2, with a flexible playstyle that rewards good resource management.
